Description of Service
- Service allows shippers to more effectively balance their market requirements through the use of 8 nomination windows in a day
Key Features and Benefits:
- Shipper can use EMB to balance their markets and short-haul supply
- Flexibility features include renewal rights, assignment rights, and additional nomination windows to better balance daily gas consumption in domestic markets
How to Access this Service
- Bid for service through a TC Energy held Open Season. Notices are posted on the TC Energy website and detail the capacity offered as well as the bidding process
- Shipper must sign an EMB contract for the accepted bid with TC Energy
- Shipper may also sign an Assignment Agreement with TC Energy and the holder of an existing EMB contract to take over all or a portion of that existing contract-holder’s service
