Canadian Gas Pipelines Code of Conduct

The purpose of the Canadian Gas Pipelines Code of Conduct (Code) and accompanying Compliance Plan (Plan) is to establish parameters and standards for transactions, interaction, information sharing and the sharing of services and resources between and among TransCanada’s wholly-owned, federally regulated Canadian gas pipelines (the Pipelines) and Affiliates, while permitting each of the Pipelines to achieve operating efficiencies from economies of scale and scope in a manner that is consistent with the objectives of the Code.

The Code is applicable to NOVA Gas Transmission Ltd. (NGTL), TransCanada PipeLines Limited (TCPL) Mainline, Foothills Pipe Lines Ltd. (Foothills) and Great Lakes Pipeline Canada Ltd. (GLC).
