Foothills Pipe Lines Ltd. (Foothills) is marketing available annual firm transportation capacity through this Open Season.

Foothills will be holding an Existing Capacity Open Season ("Open Season") for Firm Transportation on Foothills BC (Zone 8). As such Foothills will reduce a portion of the Capacity available as part of the Foothills FT-D Daily Capacity Open Season.

The bid deadline for this open season is 10:00 am Mountain Time (MT) each Banking Day (excluding US and Canadian statutory holidays).

Foothills Saskatchewan (Zone 9)

Full path FT requests will be evaluated pursuant to the Capacity Allocation Procedures.  For further information on partial path requests, please contact your Marketing Representative.

Financial Assurance Requirements:

Pursuant to section 5.8 of the General Terms and Conditions of the Foothills Tariff the successful bidders will be required to provide financial assurances as required by TransCanada.

Bidding and Allocation Procedure:

As outlined in the Foothills Tariff Capacity Allocation Procedures all parties wishing to bid for this available service can do so by completing the Daily Open Season Bid Form (page 29 of Capacity Allocation Procedures). A completed and executed Daily Open Season bid form should be faxed to Foothills Open Season 1.403.920.2341. Alternatively customers may send an email with the executed bid form to ab_ft_openseason@tcenergy.com prior to the deadline shown above.

Evaluation of Bids:

Bids will be evaluated according to the following criteria:

  1. By length of contract term, (minimum of 12 months).
  2. Commencement of service date.
  3. If oversubscribed, tied bids will be allocated on a prorated basis.

After the open season closes, we will notify customers as soon as possible.
